The libs are running scared

They are so worried that they'll have the Jacqui Lambie Network in the State Parliament to hold them to account, that they've stooped to new lows this election campaign.

How the Libs like to run election campaigns

Dirty Tactics

The Libs created a website to smear the Jacqui Lambie Network.

Spend $20,000 to buy a website domain

They spent $20,000 to buy the domain from domain squatters.

Send out 7,000 text messages

Then they sent 7,000 unsolicited text messages to consituents in Lyons, linking to the website.

Screw up sending the 7,000 messages

The Libs accidently sent these text messages from a Liberal Party candidate’s personal number.

On 10 March 2024 the Liberal Party in Tasmania bought lambienetwork.com from a domain squatter.

This domain has been on sale for 10,000 GBP.

The Jacqui Lambie Network refused to spend $20,000.

But not the Libs. They are so scared of the Jacqui Lambie Network that they will spend whatever it takes.

We'd love to know which donor funded them. But we never will.

The Liberal Party walked away from their own political donation law reforms in the last State Parliament, leaving Tasmania with the weakest political disclosure donation laws in the country.

1) Create a website attempting to smear the Jacqui Lambie Network.

2) Send 7000 unsolicited SMS messages to Lyons voters taking advantage of the exception in the Privacy ACT that allows political parties to spam voters.

The Jacqui Lambie Network does not spam voters.

3) "MONUMENTALLY SCREW UP" by sending unsolicited messages from a Liberal Party candidate's number without their knowledge or permission.
