Tyrrell calls for answers over Longford Grand Prix Expo

It’s incredibly upsetting for Longford that the Grand Prix has been cancelled.

The organisers of the event (DX industries) need to explain to the community what’s happened here and how much of taxpayers money has been spent. So far it’s been radio silence from them. 

The State Government needs to be transparent with the public how much money has been allocated and what the process is to recoup any funds. 

There are people on the ground who have been doing this for years on the smell of an oily rag. They still want an event to take place. I hope the State Government will work with them and give them whatever they need for this to happen, including any necessary funding.
