Voting Changes – Clearing up Confusion

Are you confused by the changes to Senate voting?australian-election-2010-polling-booths

Don’t worry you aren’t the only one! Earlier this year, the Liberal Government passed reforms to Senate voting with the intention of wiping out minor parties and shoring up their own seats – but they didn’t really explain what the changes mean for YOU.

Here is a run down of how you can vote to ensure your voice is heard in the Senate:

We ask that you Vote 1 Jacqui Lambie Network (JLN) above the line, 2-6 how you please.

How to Vote Cards:

JLN has a team in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.

To meet my team go to the Team tab on the home page.

And remember a vote on the Senate ballot paper is a vote for the entire state – not your electorate.

As state representatives, no matter where you live in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, or Tasmania you can vote for JLN Senate candidates.

If you are going to be away, contact me through the Contact tab and I will send you a postal vote form.

Follow the same process if you are willing to volunteer at polling booths on election day!
